MAPS WEREN’T ADDED LATER. THEY WERE THE REASON RECKON EXISTS.

Most smartwatch mapping feels like an afterthought.

Tiny screens. Slow interactions. Clunky controls. Limited offline functionality.

RECKON was built differently.

From the beginning, the goal was to create a smartwatch with true offline navigation capabilities designed specifically for hunters and backcountry users — without constantly relying on your phone.

Because when you’re in the field, maps aren’t just another feature. They’re the tool you use more than anything else.

BUILT FOR THE WAY HUNTERS ACTUALLY NAVIGATE.

Hunters constantly check maps:
crossing timber, navigating ridges, marking blood, finding glassing points, tracking camps, and making decisions in real time.

Most of us pull our phones out hundreds of times a day in the field just to reference maps.

RECKON was designed to reduce that dependency.

Not to replace your phone — but to make navigation faster, easier, and always accessible from your wrist.

BUILT SPECIFICALLY FOR WEARABLES.

We built Bridger’s native mapping system from the ground up specifically for smartwatch use.

That means:

  • downloadable offline topo maps
  • smooth pan and multiple zoom levels
  • fast interaction on smaller screens
  • GPS positioning and offline navigation
  • quick-access waypoint tools
  • track recording and saved tracks

The result is a mapping experience designed for real-world use in the field — not a scaled-down version of a phone app.

Import Your Existing Waypoints

We partnered with onX Hunt because we know that’s where many hunters already organize their waypoints, tracks, and folders.

Using the Bridger app, you can import your onX waypoint data and sync it directly to your watch — including your existing folder structure, icons, and waypoint organization.

Bridger uses its own native topo mapping system on the watch while integrating with your existing onX data and workflow.

Current Mapping Features

Today, Bridger’s mapping system includes:
  • Downloadable Offline Maps
  • GPS Positioning +Offline Navigation
  • Set Waypoints
  • Saved tracks
  • Map syncing between the Bridger app and your watch
  • Import of onX waypoints and folders

We set out to push the limits of what mapping on a wearable could be — and we’re just getting started.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I download maps before my trip?

Absolutely. Download map regions in the Bridger app, sync them to your watch over Wi-Fi, and they’ll be ready whenever you head out.

Do I need cell service to use maps?

No. Once your maps have been downloaded to your watch, GPS positioning and offline maps work without cellular service.

Can I use my existing onX waypoints?

Yes. Waypoints and folders can be imported through the Bridger app and synced directly to your watch.

Are these onX maps?

No. Bridger Watch uses its own native mapping system. If you use onX, you can import your existing waypoints and folders into the Bridger app and sync them to your watch.

Can I e-scout from my watch?

No. Bridger Watch is designed for navigation in the field, not for planning trips.

Like most outdoor wearables, the watch displays maps around your current location so you can confidently navigate while you’re outside. When you’re planning your next hunt or adventure, the Bridger app and your phone’s larger screen provide a much better experience for exploring new areas, researching terrain, and deciding where to go.

Plan on your phone. Navigate from your wrist.
