Built for the Outdoors

Bridger features its own native mapping system, designed specifically for the way people use their watches in the field.

Whether you’re planning a trip in the Bridger app or navigating from your watch, you’ll have access to downloadable offline maps, GPS positioning, waypoints, and track recording—all designed to work together seamlessly.

Plan on your phone. Navigate from your wrist.

Once your maps are downloaded, they’re available on your watch wherever your adventure takes you—even when you’re outside cellular coverage.

Offline by Design

The Bridger Watch is built for the moments when your phone isn’t.

Download the map regions you need before your trip using the Bridger app, then sync them to your watch over Wi-Fi. Once they’re on your watch, you can:

  • View maps completely offline in your location
  • See your real-time GPS location
  • Drop and save waypoints
  • Record your tracks
  • Navigate confidently without cellular service

Your watch uses GPS satellites to determine your location, so downloaded maps continue working even when you’re far from service.

One Connected Experience

Your maps, waypoints, and recorded tracks all work together inside the Bridger ecosystem.

Manage your maps in the Bridger app, sync them to your watch, and head into the field knowing everything you need is already on your wrist.

Because Bridger uses its own native mapping system, we’re able to continue improving the experience over time while keeping maps fast, reliable, and easy to use.

Import Your Existing Waypoints

Already use onX?

Bridger makes it easy to bring your existing waypoints and folders into the Bridger app.

Using our onX integration, you can import your saved waypoint data and sync it directly to your watch, allowing you to continue using the locations you’ve already organized.

Please note: The current onX integration imports waypoint and folder data. Bridger Watch uses its own native mapping system and does not display onX map imagery on the watch.

Current Mapping Features

Today, Bridger’s mapping system includes:
  • Downloadable Offline Maps
  • GPS Positioning +Offline Navigation
  • Waypoints + Track Recording
  • Saved tracks
  • Map syncing between the Bridger app and your watch
  • Import of onX waypoints and folders

We’re continually improving the mapping experience as part of the Bridger platform, with additional capabilities and integrations planned for future updates.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I download maps before my trip?

Absolutely. Download map regions in the Bridger app, sync them to your watch over Wi-Fi, and they’ll be ready whenever you head out.

Do I need cell service to use maps?

No. Once your maps have been downloaded to your watch, GPS positioning and offline maps work without cellular service.

Can I use my existing onX waypoints?

Yes. Waypoints and folders can be imported through the Bridger app and synced directly to your watch.

Are these onX maps?

No. Bridger Watch uses its own native mapping system. If you use onX, you can import your existing waypoints and folders into the Bridger app and sync them to your watch.

Can I e-scout from my watch?

No. Bridger Watch is designed for navigation in the field, not for planning trips.

Like most outdoor wearables, the watch displays maps around your current location so you can confidently navigate while you’re outside. When you’re planning your next hunt or adventure, the Bridger app and your phone’s larger screen provide a much better experience for exploring new areas, researching terrain, and deciding where to go.
