Bridger Watch (“Bridger,” “we,” “our”) designs products for outdoor enthusiasts, hunters, backcountry travelers, military personnel, and other high-performance users. While our devices are engineered to be reliable and durable, the outdoors is unpredictable and inherently dangerous.
By using any Bridger product (“Product”), you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.
1. No Lifesaving, Emergency, or Safety Guarantees
Bridger products are not designed to replace:

satellite messengers
-
avalanche beacons
-
compasses or physical maps
-
professional navigation tools
-
medical devices
You should never rely solely on a Bridger device in life-threatening or emergency scenarios.
Always carry appropriate backup equipment and follow standard outdoor safety protocols.
2. GPS, Mapping, and Navigation Limitations
GPS technology can fail or produce inaccurate data due to:

dense forests or canyons
-
steep terrain
-
extreme weather
-
satellite positioning
-
atmospheric interference
-
device obstruction
-
multipath reflections or signal drift
While our devices strive for accuracy, Bridger does not guarantee precise navigation or perfect map performance at all times.
Users are responsible for verifying their location and route using secondary methods.
3. Sensor and Health Metric Limitations
Bridger devices may include:

environmental sensors (elevation, barometer, temperature)

movement/activity tracking

biometric indicators
These features are for informational use only and do not:

diagnose, treat, or prevent medical conditions

4. Extreme Conditions & Outdoor Hazards
Outdoor environments involve risks including:

Bridger is not responsible for harm, injury, or loss resulting from environmental or outdoor conditions, whether expected or unexpected.
Users assume full responsibility for their actions and decisions in the field.
5. Battery Life, Power Loss & Device Failure
Battery performance can vary based on:

power settings

age of battery

environmental factors
Sudden battery depletion or device shutdown can occur.
Users are responsible for carrying backup navigation and safety tools at all times.
Bridger is not liable for incidents resulting from battery failure or low power.
6. Water Resistance & Exposure
Bridger devices offer water resistance within their published rating, but:

water resistance is not permanent

exposure to chemicals, mud, or impacts can reduce protection

submersion beyond rated limits voids protection
Damage from water exposure beyond the device’s stated rating is not covered.
7. Personal Responsibility & Assumption of Risk

You agree to use the Product responsibly and in accordance with all safety guidelines.
8. No Warranty Extension
This disclaimer does not extend, replace, or modify the Bridger 1-Year Limited Warranty.
The Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship — not injuries, navigation errors, or environmental incidents.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Bridger is not liable for:

navigation inaccuracies

environmental or terrain hazards
-
wildlife encounters
-
equipment misuse

user error
-
emergency or rescue failures
-
data inaccuracies or loss

damage caused by extreme outdoor use
