Q: What is the battery life?
|
|
The Reckon was built from the ground up for extended time in the field, including a significantly larger battery capacity than most smartwatches on the market. Truth be told, we had a pathway to 30+ days in pre-launch. As soon as we started shipping production units, our 3rd party engineering sent us bad code that significantly impacted the experience. We're bringing that development completely in-house and aggressively working to get the battery life back to those initial levels.
Most users are currently seeing around a week of battery life depending on settings, GPS usage, mapping, and tracking activity. Battery optimization is now one of our highest internal priorities. We've already made meaningful progress through recent software updates, and performance continues to improve with every release. |

Q: What app integration is possible (MyFitnessPal/onX/Strava etc.)

Mapping - We have integrated with onX Hunt to revolutionize the wearable mapping game. You can also import/ export your mapping data with any other mapping platform.
Fitness - Full integration with MTNTOUGH is coming, giving you richer training and performance data than ever before. Right now, the Reckon connects with Apple Health, giving iOS users an easy way to sync activity and health data. We’re also working on direct integrations with Strava, Runna, and MyFitnessPal that should be available in the coming weeks |

Q: What is the compatibility of the watch with smartphones?
|

The Reckon supports Bluetooth pairing with both iOS and Android smartphones. When connected, it passes through your phone’s notifications (texts, calls, emails, and app alerts) directly to the watch.

Q: Can I import/export waypoints into the mapping and navigation system?
|
|
Yes! You can import or export data (waypoints, tracks, etc.) into the Bridger mapping system. You can also create new waypoints instantly within your map.
Also, we are only integrated with onX Hunt making data transfer seamless from their app to ours. If you wanted to pull data from other mapping software, you can do so through a computer.

Q: What watch bands do I get with the RECKON?

The RECKON will come with our standard, black FKM (fluoroelastomer) field band. We're getting more bands added to the site for additional options as well.

Q: Are there alarm functions?
|

Yes! The RECKON does have an alarm clock feature.

Q: Will there be any paid membership required to use it?
|
|
Not required. The only additional paid subscription will be our premium health metrics as an optional upgrade. A lot more to come on this as we continue to work through those algorithms, but this gives you access to our advanced, cloud-powered insights—things like deeper recovery data, personalized readiness scores, and altitude and fatigue modeling. The standard watch still gives you all the core health metrics you’d expect, but Premium uses additional cloud processing to deliver more accurate, more detailed, and more personalized health insights.

Q: Can I get texts messages on the watch?

The RECKON will notify you of new text messages, but currently, you cannot send or receive texts or calls directly through the RECKON.

Q: Is the RECKON waterproof?
|
|
The RECKON is rated 10 ATM and can withstand pressures equivalent to a depth of 100 meters.

Q: What is the warranty?
|
|
The RECKON comes with an industry best, two-year limited warranty, plus a 50% replacement credit in year three if the watch experiences performance issues from normal use.

Q: Is the RECKON HSA / FSA eligible?
|
|
